Responsibilities

  1.  Strategy development: develop comprehensive strategies to attract European funds, aligning them with Green eDIH’s objectives and focus areas in twin transformation, green innovation, and sustainability.
  2. Identification and evaluation: identify, evaluate, and analyze opportunities for European funding available to Green eDIH and its affiliated members and partners.
  3. Active partner search: actively engage with relevant networks to identify suitable partners and build successful consortia on dedicated portals and platforms for partner search.
  4. Participation in meetings: represent Green eDIH in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to European funding opportunities and green innovation initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to discuss project ideas, partnership opportunities, and funding strategies.
  5. Networking and consortium establishment: collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and relevant stakeholders to identify project opportunities, build consortia, and enhance the success of European funding applications.
  6. Proposal development: lead the preparation and submission of funding proposals for European programs, ensuring high-quality proposals that meet the requirements and objectives of the funding calls.
  7. Budget planning and management: develop detailed project budgets in collaboration with project partners, ensuring accurate cost estimations, financial feasibility, and compliance with funding guidelines. Monitor project expenditures and manage budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  8. Project management: coordinate and manage the entire lifecycle of European-funded projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with funding regulations, timelines, and deliverables.
  9. Monitoring and reporting: monitor the progress of European-funded projects, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders and funding agencies.
  10. Knowledge management: stay updated on relevant EU policies, funding programs, and trends in green innovation, and disseminate knowledge and best practices within Green eDIH and its network.

 

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as business administration, European studies, or other similar studies.
Experience: proven track record of successfully securing and managing European funding. Projects developed for digital innovation projects within the context of Digital Innovation Hubs or similar organizations are an advantage.
Expertise: in-depth knowledge of European Union funding programs related to environmental sustainability, circular economy, clean energy, and digitalization, such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Interreg, and European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF).
Strategic thinking: the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to maximize European funding opportunities and support the growth and impact of Green eDIH’s activities.
Project management skills: strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting, focusing on delivering results and achieving project objectives.
Communication: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different sectors and countries.
Language skills: proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.
