The Green Digital Innovation HUB (Green eDIH) announces its successful participation in the EU-India Innocenter business mission to India to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration in one of the world’s most vibrant innovation environments. Being among the 20 European ecosystem builders who spent a week interacting with India’s leading tech players was an opportunity that made it possible to connect with India’s burgeoning tech innovation landscape, from immersing oneself in the vibrant community to to get to know the local business environment, at conferences or companies visited.
During the week-long mission, the team was deeply involved in creating collaborative relationships with local businesses and visited prominent incubators, accelerators and educational institutions such as Karnataka Digital Economy Mission , DERBI Foundation , or C-CAMP . The mission agenda also included participation in significant events such as NASSCOM Future Forge 2023 , round table hosted by JLL Idea Labs and visits to industry giants such as Tata Elxsi .
The fourth edition of Blue Carpet Night in Bangalore was an important chapter in fostering collaboration between European and Indian organizations. Six European startups with innovative solutions in Health Tech , Clean Tech and Deep Tech presented their business ideas on the Indian startup stage, discussing smart cities, cross-border innovation and more.
“Being selected by EU-India Innocenter to participate in this business mission opened up new perspectives for us,” said Ruxandra MIUTI, Innovation Manager. “Exposure to India’s diverse and dynamic innovation ecosystem has provided us with invaluable insights and opened doors for potential collaborations that perfectly align with our goals at the Green Digital Innovation HUB.”
The mission served as a platform for the Green Digital Innovation HUB to create meaningful connections with key organizations in India and Europe, including industry leaders, innovators and decision makers, encouraging a rich exchange of ideas and strategies for future collaborations.
“Our interactions with local businesses, startups and established institutions have strengthened our commitment to fostering global collaborations and leveraging synergies for sustainable innovation,” added Gabriel MUNTEANU, Green eDIH Governor.
The Green Digital Innovation HUB will continue to leverage the knowledge gained in this business mission to promote innovation, facilitate collaborations and significantly contribute to the growth of the digital ecosystem, both in Romania and in collaboration with Indian and EU partners .
