Green Technology Cluster Policy
(hereinafter referred to as GTC)
on the protection of personal data

GTC  as eDIH Governor processes personal data with the purpose of carrying out the managemet activity of the cluster and the Digital Innovation Hub in the Green eDIH region, data that usually belong to partners, volunteers, our employees and representatives or employees of our business or institutional partners.

When we collect, record, store, use or otherwise process personal data we ensure that we respect an adequate level of data protection and take all necessary measures to ensure their confidentiality.

Ensuring the protection of personal data is one of the responsibilities of the GTC in its market activity. To this end, GTC undertakes to comply with the legal principles established on data protection, in particular those provided for in the General Regulation on the protection of personal data 679/2016 (hereinafter “GDPR”).

Also, in its capacity as personal data controller,GTC has the obligation to manage in a safe manner and only for the specified purposes, the personal data that the users provide about them.

GTC ensures that its employees and volunteers are properly trained to ensure compliance with all principles in the processing of personal data.

In carrying out its activity, GTC processes different categories of personal data, depending on the category of data subjects, thus, in the case of partners ‘and suppliers’ representatives, the data refers to name, surname, position, telephone number and e-mail address.

As a rule, the basis on which GTC processes personal data is the contract or the legal obligation established in its charge, the purpose being related to the proper conduct of the contractual relationship or the fulfillment of an obligation.

GTC undertakes to collect and process only personal data that are necessary and proportionate for the fulfillment of legal obligations and for the smooth running of the management activity of the Green Technology Cluster and the Digital Innovation Hub  – Green eDIH.

GTC guarantees that the access to personal data is granted only to its employees or volunteers, within the limits set by the job description in order to perform their duties. We do not disclose any personal data to third parties.

Personal data is stored on GTC servers and is managed by a computer system that ensures an adequate level of security.

The data owners have the following rights: to be informed, to have access to the data, to intervene in the data, to object to the processing of the data (for reasons related to the particular situation), not to be subject to an individual decision and surveillance. At the same time, the data owners have the right to request the deletion of the data (if the conditions provided by the relevant legislation are met).

Personal data processed by GTC are not transferred to persons outside the European Economic Area.

The retention period of personal data is determined according to the basis of the data processing and its purpose. At the expiration of the terms thus established, all data that would allow the identification of persons will be deleted / anonymized, and those that may be useful for statistical purposes will be kept.
