Green eDIH is an initiative dedicated to promoting digital and innovative technologies for a sustainable future. Our mission is to stimulate collaboration between the academic environment, innovative companies, and the local community.
We are launching a call to recruit enthusiastic and passionate young people to contribute to the implementation of ChargeConnect, an innovative research project. As we endeavor to reshape the landscape of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, we’re seeking enthusiastic individuals passionate about fostering sustainability through digital solutions.
This call is open to those enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s studies in technical, economic, or marketing fields, who wish to follow a practice program that will give them the experience of working alongside an interdisciplinary team, as well as the opportunity to join this team long-term. The invitation is also open to anyone who wants to participate as a volunteer in a research project, through which they will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge in topics related to research, innovation and digital technologies.
By joining our team, you’ll immerse yourself in a dynamic environment, working alongside industry experts to drive innovation in the EV charging sector. Your role will involve contributing to research initiatives aimed at enhancing the interoperability and usability of EV charging stations. Additionally, you’ll have the unique opportunity to participate in a citizen science research project, empowering you to gather firsthand insights and contribute directly to our findings.

Who Can Apply:
- Students enrolled in undergraduate and master’s programs or young graduates in technical (IT, engineering), economic (development, economics, business), or marketing fields.
- Individuals passionate about technology, innovation, and sustainability.
- Individuals with good communication and teamwork skills.
Selection Criteria:
- Questionnaire: minimum 75% correct answers. The questionnaire is in English, as this will be the language used during the project implementation.
- Motivation and interest in the project, in English (motivation letter).
- Interpersonal and communication skills (interview, in Romanian).
Application Process:
- Stage 1: Online application submission by completing the questionnaire available on the Green eDIH website. Applications must include an updated CV and a motivation letter, in English.
- Stage 2: Evaluation of applications by the selection committee and selection of candidates for interview.
- Stage 3: Selection interviews, which will be conducted online and face to face.

Timeline:
- Deadline for submitting applications: July 31, 2024.
- Date for announcing selected candidates for interview: August 5, 2024.
- Interview period: August 6-9, 2024.
- Announcement of final results: August 12, 2024.
Selected persons will be involved in the following activities:
- Developing data gathering instruments;
- Collecting data;
- Processing and curating data;
- Analyzing data;
- Interpreting data;
- Sharing and communicating results;
- Policy-impact related activities (drafting policy recommendations, organizing advocacy meetings, etc.);
