HumanEnerDIA

Human-Centric Intelligent Energy Management System with Digital Intelligent Assistant

Digital energy management systems are critical to achieving sustainability in manufacturing, but they often remain complex and inaccessible to non-expert users. HumanEnerDIA, a project funded under the Wasabi open call round 1, aims to change that by developing a conversational, human-centric intelligent assistant that helps factory teams manage energy usage more effectively.

Led by A Plus Engineering, the project builds on their existing Intel50001 software and introduces voice and text-based AI elements to help users monitor consumption, improve efficiency and align with ISO50001 standards. Over the course of 12 months, the solution will be tested in a Romanian factory, with the goal of demonstrating how voice-based interaction can make advanced energy management tools more usable and scalable across different types of industrial SMEs.

Green eDIH contributes to the project through collaborative innovation services, including expert guidance, support with digital and data strategies, coordination of field trials with a Romanian manufacturing partner, and the organisation of educational and public outreach activities. A final showcase event will take place in Bucharest to share the results and explore wider adoption across the sector.
